"The Godfather" Film Tour From Giardini Naxos

This exclusive tour offers privileged access to the places that served as the backdrop for one of cinema's most iconic sagas.
The route leads guests through the charming historic centers of Savoca and Forza d'Agrò, chosen by director Francis Ford Coppola as the setting for his famous trilogy, freely inspired by Mario Puzo's literary work. During the visit, you can experience the magic of iconic places, including the famous Bar Vitelli, and stroll through alleys and squares that preserve intact the atmosphere of a time suspended and genuine hospitality.

Castello degli Schiavi - Villa Corleone
Our tour will begin with a visit to the Castello degli Schiavi, nicknamed "Villa Corleone," in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, where you can relive the famous scenes from the film. This is where the scenes from Part I were shot, ending with the explosion of the car driven by Apollonia, as well as the scenes from the final shots of Part III, where the Castello degli Schiavi serves as Don Tommasino's villa, in which Michael Corleone holds a meeting before dying alone.
This visit, lasting about 1 hour and a half, begins with the screening of footage from The Godfather related to "Villa Corleone"; afterwards, you can admire original and unique documents from the film's production and photographs taken of the famous actors during filming. By retracing all the places made famous by the film, you'll have the chance to become the protagonist yourself, being immortalized in photos and videos in those very locations, recreating the famous scenes from The Godfather.
Savoca: Bar Vitelli and Church of San Nicolò
Then, after a short journey along eastern Sicily, we'll arrive in Savoca, one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy," visiting Bar Vitelli, where Don Michael Corleone asked for Apollonia's hand in marriage.
After visiting the village center, another essential stop on our tour will be the Church of San Nicolò, where the wedding scene between Michael Corleone and Apollonia in the first Godfather film was set. These places fascinated Coppola and were immediately chosen to capture the scenes of his masterpiece.
