Cookie policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, may remember preferences or support a site feature. This notice covers the new dreamisland.it site; the old WordPress site used different tools and its cookie list does not necessarily describe this one.

Necessary cookies and requested services

The public pages do not require a WordPress account. Hosting and security features may use technical identifiers. The staff-only administration area may use session cookies for authentication and protection. The booking calendar on app.dreamisland.it may use technical cookies for dates, cart, session and payment. These support the service requested and are not used here for advertising.

Optional features and external providers

The calendar is provided by the Dream Island booking system; payment is handled by the provider named at checkout. Pickup-point search runs only when used and may query Geoapify or Google Maps through our server. WhatsApp and links to Google, Tripadvisor or GetYourGuide open external services only when selected. Their own privacy and cookie notices apply.

Analytics and marketing

With your consent we use Google Tag Manager to run two services of Google Ireland Ltd: Google Analytics 4, which measures pages visited, clicks and browsing language in aggregate (cookies _ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years), and Google Ads, which measures enquiries and bookings that came from our ads (cookies _gcl_*, up to 90 days). Without consent, Google Consent Mode only sends cookieless signals without identifiers.

Your choice also applies to the booking calendar on app.dreamisland.it, which receives the campaign code only if you accepted marketing. Simply continuing to browse is not consent; we ask again after six months.

Managing cookies

You can accept, reject or choose by category in the banner and change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also remove or block cookies in your browser settings: blocking technical cookies of the booking portal may prevent you from completing a purchase. For questions about cookies and personal data, email info@dreamisland.it.
