MT Etna Excursions is a Dream Island SRL brand. This notice covers dreamisland.it; external services publish their own notices.

Data and purposes

The server may record IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages and technical details needed for security and operation. If you contact us, we receive your name, email, optional phone number and message so we can reply. The contact form transmits these details only when you submit it.

For quotes and bookings we may need participants’ details, contact information, dates and the practical information you choose to provide. Online bookings are completed on app.dreamisland.it. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not collected by this site. The optional pickup search sends the location you enter to the map provider named in its interface.

Analytics and campaign measurement

Only if you accept them in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads through Google Tag Manager. These services are provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The purpose is to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, buttons and links clicked, excursions consulted, language, device and browser type, approximate country or city) and to measure how many enquiries and bookings come from our advertising campaigns. We do not send Google your name, email, phone number or message content.

The data are linked to pseudonymous online identifiers stored in cookies (_ga, _ga_*, _gcl_*). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. If you accepted marketing cookies, the campaign parameters you arrived with (for example gclid or utm_source) are also passed to the booking calendar on app.dreamisland.it, so that the booking is attributed to the right ad.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can refuse or withdraw at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, with no effect on your use of the site. Without consent, Google Consent Mode only sends cookieless signals without identifiers. Analytics data are kept for up to 14 months; advertising conversion data according to Google Ads terms. Google may process data in the United States: transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, and on standard contractual clauses. Legal bases

We answer enquiries and arrange bookings under pre-contractual or contractual necessity (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); keep legally required records under legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)); and secure the site and prevent abuse under legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Google Analytics and Google Ads run only with your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), as described above and in the cookie policy. Contact enquiries do not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Recipients and transfers

Hosting, email, booking, payment and technical support providers may process data only as needed. Choosing WhatsApp opens a Meta service; maps and outbound links follow their providers’ notices. Where a provider operates outside the European Economic Area, applicable GDPR safeguards and the provider’s notice apply. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and security

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and document the correspondence, taking account of contracts, legal duties and the protection of rights. Booking and tax records follow statutory periods. Technical logs and form rate-limit data are kept only as needed for security and operation. We apply appropriate access controls and technical safeguards.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability where applicable, object to processing and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email info@dreamisland.it. You may also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
