Choose your excursion, check the available dates in its calendar and complete the booking online. If you prefer, message us on WhatsApp at +39 348 157 4899 or email info@dreamisland.it. A request by form, email or WhatsApp is not yet a booking: it is confirmed when you receive our written confirmation with a booking reference.

Prices are in euros and the final amount is shown in the summary before you pay. Online payments go through the provider named at checkout: our website never receives your full card details. Some excursions take an online deposit with the balance paid on the day: for Etna 3000 m, for example, a €40 deposit and €80 on site.

Many group excursions run with at least 2 participants; the minimum is shown on each tour page. If it is not reached, we contact you to offer another date or a refund of what you paid.

For most group excursions on Etna, yes: cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start (48 hours for private tours). Boat trips, island tours and partner experiences have their own conditions, shown on the tour page, at checkout and in your confirmation: those are the ones that apply.

Write to us as soon as possible at info@dreamisland.it or on WhatsApp. We can change the date, language, participants or meeting point depending on availability and any price difference.

We check the forecast for the next day every day. In adverse conditions we may change the route, postpone or cancel the excursion: we let you know as soon as possible and, if we cancel, we offer a new date or a refund of the service paid.

Tours often still run, and it is a unique sight: the guide adapts the route to the volcano’s activity and to the ordinances in force. If the excursion cannot go ahead safely, we contact you in advance.

On group tours, pick-up is free within 30 km of Linguaglossa and takes place only at the designated pick-up points for that tour, not at every hotel or accommodation. Be at your chosen point at the time shown in your confirmation. For private tours, a different pick-up point can be arranged according to the itinerary.

Each tour page lists its pick-up and meeting points with times and helps you find the one nearest to you. Some experiences start at the activity itself: for example Piano Provenzana for Etna 3000 m, or the Fiumefreddo di Sicilia helipad for the helicopter tour.

Yes, from the ports of Catania and Messina, with a programme planned around the ship’s schedule and the return on board. Regular excursions have their own times and meeting points, so write to us first with your port and ship: pick-up at the terminal is included only when stated in the confirmed proposal.

We work in small groups: on Etna we travel by SUV or minivan with up to 8 passengers per vehicle.

Our team speaks Italian and English. Confirm the guiding language when you book: if you need another language, tell us and we will check availability for your date.

Comfortable closed shoes (hiking boots for high-altitude routes), layers and a windproof jacket: it is cool on Etna even in summer. Add water, sunglasses and sun cream. For the Alcantara Gorges in summer, bring a swimsuit, towel and water shoes. Each tour page has its full list.

Yes: for many Etna excursions hiking boots can be rented for €5 a pair. Poles and, on some routes, jackets are also available on request. Just ask when you book.

It depends on the excursion: Etna & Alcantara Gorges and Etna & Wine Tour include lunch, the half-day trek does not. You will find it on each excursion card and tour page.

Many are. The half-day trek and the Etna & Alcantara Gorges excursion are easy and family-friendly, with reduced rates for children aged 3 to 10 and free places for under-3s. High-altitude excursions have a minimum age: 8 for Etna 3000 m, 12 for the Valle del Bove.

High-altitude excursions require good health: they are not suitable for people with heart, breathing or blood-pressure conditions, or during pregnancy. The helicopter flight has a limit of 105 kg per passenger. Tell us about any relevant condition before confirming.

It depends on the experience. Tell us about your needs before booking: we will tell you honestly which excursions are suitable and what we can arrange.

Yes: most of our excursions can also run privately, just for you and your travel companions. Ask when you book; on private tours we can also agree a different pick-up point.
