The experience

Aboard powerful 4x4s, you'll climb from Piano Provenzana up to 2,900 metres, then continue on foot toward the volcano's summit, through deserts of ash, plumes of smoke and endless views that sweep all the way to the sea.

A guided adventure of about 5 hours, designed to give you an emotion you'll remember forever!

Live an unforgettable experience on the summit of Europe's highest active volcano! This excursion is designed for those who want to reach Etna's summit craters, combining the thrill of off-road 4x4s with the charm of high-altitude trekking, accompanied in total safety by our expert guides (available in Italian, English, French and, on request, Spanish and German).

Our journey begins at 8:30 at Piano Provenzana (1,800 metres), meeting at the Chiosco bar Etna Nord. From here we'll climb aboard special 4x4 vehicles, crossing breathtaking volcanic landscapes until we reach 2,900 metres, near the Volcanological Observatory.
