HARVEST WITH OUR FARMERS (September-October)
In Sicily the harvest is a unique moment to live, of joy and sharing.
We will take you to our countryside where, in close contact and under the guidance of expert
farmers, you will experience the harvest. In direct contact with nature, immersed in a bucolic
atmosphere, you will participate from the grape harvest to the pressing and the early stages of
winemaking. At the end of the day also take part in the typical lunch with local products and wine.
COME WITH US TO COLLECT THE OLIVES (November-December)
In Sicily in most of the countryside, the olives are harvested by hand, when they reach the proper
maturation, placing a net under the tree. Only in this way the oil will take a unique color and flavor.
Then you move to the fruit crusher in open plastic containers to prevent overheating of the olives.
Finally, the processing in the mill that is always carried out within 24 hours of collection.
Satisfaction is all in the end when guests receive complimentary complimentary bottle with the
product obtained from the working day.
PARTICIPATE IN THE PRODUCTION OF CHEESE (all year)
Food is not just nourishment but also discovery, sharing and pleasure. Italian food products are an
infinite patrimony and arise from the professionalism, imagination and passion of farmers.
With this tour we will take you to our best cheese factory , showing you the steps of cheese
processing and making you participate actively in production. You will live an unforgettable
experience, like a "journey in the journey".
COLLECT THE CITRUS FRUITS AND FRUIT OF SICILY (November to April)
Citrus fruits are the emblem of our land. Oranges, lemons and tangerines, of various species and
seasoning, best represent our territory and are expertly used in the typical cuisine.
During the tour you will visit a typical farm, very often managed by the family, and will participate in
the collection of citrus fruits and other fruit.
Experiences last the whole day and lunch is always included.
