Explore towards the crater area, up to about 360 m where access is permitted, with views over the Aeolian archipelago.
Free time by the black-sand coast
Enjoy the island and beaches. Swimming, thermal areas and mud baths depend on current access and opening conditions.
05Around 20:00 · Return
Return to your starting area after the crossing and minivan transfer. Timings depend on the conditions of the day.

01Full programme
The day begins around 08:00 with collection from your accommodation or an agreed meeting point. Travel by minivan, with up to eight people per vehicle, to Milazzo harbour; arrival is planned around 10:00.
Board for Vulcano, with arrival on the island planned around 11:00. The guided walk follows the volcanic landscape towards the crater area; the published itinerary reaches a maximum of about 360 m above sea level and includes a circuit around the crater when access is permitted.
After the walk, there is free time to enjoy the island, its beaches and the black-sand shore. Swimming, thermal areas and mud baths depend on current opening and access conditions and are not guaranteed. The return to the starting area is planned around 20:00.

Bring suitable footwear for volcanic trails, a hat, swimwear and a towel for free time by the sea. A small bottle of water is included. Ask the team about clothing for the conditions on your chosen day.
