- During the tour a guide will lead the way so you can easily recognize the route to follow.
- The quads used have automatic transmission and can carry up to two people (driver and passenger).
- Before you leave, you will be provided with the necessary protective equipment, helmet and under-helmet, and instructions on how to use the quad.
- The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B driver’s license.
- Children under the age of 6 and women in advanced pregnancy cannot participate in the tour.
- Closed shoes and a jacket are required during the colder months. We also recommend sunglasses and bandana/mask (to protect against dust).
- There are two possible meeting points, one in Castiglione di Sicilia, the other near the Alcantara Gorges, either way the routes remain the same.

Departure from Castiglione di Sicilia or Agritour Donato, near the Alcantara Gorges.
Quad bike excursion among the dirt roads and paved paths of Motta Camastra and Francavilla di Sicilia. Traveling along dirt paths, immersed in local vegetation, we will cross the San Paolo River and then arrive to Francavilla di Sicilia.

Alcantara Quad Tour - 2 hours and 30 minutes
Departure from Castiglione di Sicilia or Agritour Donato, near the Alcantara Gorges.
Quad bike tour among the dirt roads and paved paths of Motta Camastra and Francavilla di Sicilia. Passing through off-road trails, surrounded by the local vegetation, we will cross the San Paolo River, arriving then to Francavilla di Sicilia. We will then continue in the direction of Castiglione di Sicilia, visiting first the Gurne dell’Alcantara, and then arriving at the bridge that connects Francavilla to Castiglione, a bridge that crosses over the Alcantara River from which you can enjoy an excellent panoramic view. If time permits, we will visit the Byzantine Cuba before returning.
During the summer time, there will be a relaxing break during which you can visit and bathe in the refreshing waters of the Alcantara Gurne. In the fall period you will instead take a quad tour of the medieval village Castiglione di Sicilia.
